"Sabrina is a chameleon in her product leadership. She is flexible and adaptable which gives her an ability to transition from project to project/topic to topic and adapt her style as needed. She uses creative ways to understand what the customers really need to support experience decisions and design. While she thinks about the end experience she can also develop a map of technical infrastructure needed to develop complex features and functionality. Very few people can be excellent at both the front-end experience design as well as the technical back-end. “While Sabrina was a Product Manager at Benefitfocus and I was a consultant to the University of Texas System (UTS). Sabrina and I worked together on modernizing UTS’s benefit enrollment, premium/fee billing, and claims audit systems. The system was developed over 20 years on a mainframe platform (with telephony and web interfaces) by inhouse programmers, with more functionality than any similarly functioned system available on the market. UTS management wanted to move to a cloud-based system with outsourced technical (developer) staff. While there were several Benefitfocus technical support staff helping on the modernization project, Sabrina was the most knowledgeable about the objects (code) of the Benefitfocus system. While she could easily explain the functions at the higher, management, level, she also could communicate extremely effectively with UTS’s analysts and programmers, she knew the Benefitfocus system’s how’s and why’s, and she had access to modify (and/or order modifications) to the system’s underlying code. She was excellent to work with, an excellent communicator, and kept us encouraged that the Benefitfocus system would eventually be able to even perform the functions of UTS’s legacy system, even if not yet on the design board for Benefitfocus. I was/am certain Sabrina was always shooting straight with me. I am giving my highest recommendation for Sabrina."
